The test is simple to use and involves a urine sample into a collection container, then dipping the test card into the urine - Please carry out the full test procedure instructions from the product insert leaflet which are also shown below:
Collect the urine specimen in a clean and dry container at any time of the day. Urine specimens with visible particles should be centrifuged, filtered, or allowed to settle to acquire a clear sample for testing.
Urine samples may be stored between 2-8°C for up to 48 hours prior to testing. For long-term storage, specimens may be frozen and stored below -20°C. Frozen samples should be thawed and mixed before testing.
TEST PROCEDURE
1. Allow the test to reach room temperature before opening it. Remove the test Panel from the sealed pouch and use it as soon as possible.
2. Remove the cap from the test panel and with the arrows pointing downwards on the test strips, immerse the strips into the urine specimen for 10 to 15 seconds, ensuring that the level of urine touches the wavy lines, but not above the arrows on the test panel strips.
3. Replace the cap on the test panel and leave on a flat, non-absorbent surface.
4. Start the timer and wait for the coloured lines to appear.
5. At 5 minutes read the results. Results read after 1 hour are considered invalid.
