This test detects the following Drugs and Alcohol with the corresponding cut-offs and detection periods:

Alcohol – 0.02% for upto 72 hours

Cut-off (ng/ml): concentration of the specific DOA that can be detected in nanograms per millilitre at 5 mins. e.g, the Amphetamine test (AMP) with a cut-off with 300ng/ml means that AMP can
be detected in the sample after 5 minutes with values at or above 300ng/ml.

Other tools required & not supplied in the kit: Specimen cup & Timer.

The test is very simple to use and involves taking a urine sample, then using the dropper to collect a small amount of urine and then placing droplets of the urine into the cassette wells.

TEST PROCEDURE

1. Allow the test to reach room temperature before opening it. Remove the Test Cassette from the sealed pouch and use it as soon as possible.

2. Place the cassette on a flat surface and using the dropper provided drip three drops of urine into each specimen well on the cassette.

3. Start the timer and wait for the coloured lines to appear.

4. At 5 minutes read the results. Results read after 1 hour are considered invalid.
